Sway Stay New Forest
This is a wonderful house in which to stay. It has been very lovingly refurbished to the highest standard and the kitchen is brilliantly kitted out with everything you could need. The kitchen, dining, living room space is fantastic, light and airy but also very cozy and comfortable - we loved lounging on the big L shaped sofa before heading out to the patio and massive garden. Sway is a lovely little village from which to explore the New Forest and this house the perfect place to stay!
Everything you need
Lane Cottage is a beautifully refurbished holiday home in a great location to explore the New Forest from. Equipped with everything you could need for a very comfortable holiday including a trampoline in the garden which the children loved! The cottage is a short walk from an excellent pub with brilliant play areas for toddlers and bigger kids. We will certainly be looking to visit again and would highly recommend the property.
What more could anyone ask for!
Our family of four stayed at Lane Cottage in August 2020.
The house is just a ten-minute walk away from the local butcher’s shop, two mini-market stores, the station and a deli/coffee shop. The nearest Forest walk is just two minutes away – turn left from the property, go under the main Bournemouth – Waterloo railway line and go through the gate on your left.
Sway is perfectly situated for Brockenhurst, Lymington, New Milton, Mudeford, Hengistbury Head, Milford-on-Sea, Keyhaven, Hythe, Lepe, Beaulieu, Calshot Spit, open forest, coast, the Isle of Wight. Perfect indeed! (mind you, being an exiled Sotonian, I might just be ever so slightly biased)
All-in-all, we had a fantastic holiday – great house, great location, great local beer and wine… what more could anyone ask for!
